本科畢業于中國電子科技大學應用物理學專業，并獲理學學士學位。曾在美國留學多年，并先後在美國 Embry－Riddle Aeronautical University 獲空間科學碩士學位和 University of Central Florida 獲空間物理學博士學位。曾在美國 Embry－Riddle Aeronautical University 自然科學系從事博士後研究和作短期訪問學者。主要教學課程有《中高層大氣動力學》和《大氣探測》。
